Giant With The Three Golden Hairs
| The King shouted at the ferry-man to ferry him across. He shouted at him to go faster, and called him rude names. At the other shore, the ferry-man put the oar in the King's hand and leapt out of the ferry. The Queen didn't miss the King much. She took up gardening, and the young man and his wife ruled the Kingdom wisely. Down at the river, perhaps the King is still ferrying back and forth. No one has taken the oar from him. |
