Once in a storm, the King went into the mill to get out of the rain. He asked the mill-folk if the tall boy was their son. “No,” answered they, “he’s a foundling. Fourteen years ago he floated down to the mill-dam in a box.” The King knew that it was the luck-child! He said, “My good people, if the boy takes a letter to the Queen, I will give him two gold pieces as a reward." The King wrote a letter to the Queen. He wrote, “As soon as the boy arrives with this letter, kill him.”

It may be the case that you have heard or read these stories before but some of them you may have never read in your life!!! Perhaps one of them will become your most favorite fairy tale in the world! And did you know that some authors wrote different versions. What do you know about these famous classic fairy tales?
The Grimm Brothers were names Jacob and Wilhelm. Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm was born in January 4, 1785, in Hanau, Germany. Just over a year later, in February 24, 1786, his little brother Wilhelm Carl Grimm was born. Their father was a lawyer, and they had six more brothers and one sister. Wow they had a big family. I bet they enjoyed telling each other stories. KIDOONS is happy to present the classic fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. They certainly wrote a lot of fairy tales.
